How do I get started?

Create your free MALIPOPAY account, complete KYC verification, and integrate using our Merchant API. You can start accepting payments within 24 hours of approval.

What are your fees?

We charge a flat 1% fee on all MNO and bank collections, plus the applicable MNO network fee. Card payments are charged at 3%. Disbursements are TZS 500 flat or 0.5% for mobile money, and TZS 2,000 flat for bank transfers. No hidden fees, no monthly minimums.

Which MNOs and banks do you support?

We support all major Tanzanian MNOs: M-Pesa (Vodacom), Mixx by YAS (Tigo), Airtel Money, Halopesa (Halotel), and T-Pesa (TTCL). For banks, we support CRDB Bank and NMB Bank with multiple channels including Simbanking, Wakala, and Internet Banking.

How long do settlements take?

MNO collections are settled within T+1 (next business day). Bank transfers are typically settled same day for transactions before the cut-off time. Enterprise clients can negotiate faster settlement terms.

Do you offer card payments?

Yes. We support Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and American Express at a flat 3% rate. Card channel activation requires a one-time setup fee of TZS 150,000.

Are there transaction limits?

Transaction limits vary by MNO. M-Pesa and Mixx support up to TZS 5,000,000 per transaction, while Airtel, Halopesa, and T-Pesa support up to TZS 3,000,000. All providers have a minimum of TZS 1,000. Enterprise clients can request higher limits.
