Pay suppliers and vendors on time, every time

Small suppliers often want mobile money and larger ones want a bank transfer. Fund your wallet once, list the invoices you are paying, and settle them all in one approved run.

Who you can pay

  • Farmers and produce suppliers
  • Wholesalers and distributors
  • Contractors and fundis
  • Service providers

How it works

The same four steps whether you pay ten people or five hundred.

Step 1

Deposit from your bank

Pay the total into your permanent deposit number from CRDB or NMB. Free on the Malipopay side.

Step 2

Upload your list

Fill the payout template in Excel and upload it. Every row is checked with a name lookup.

Step 3

Approve with a code

See the total, the fees and the balance left, then approve with a one-time code.

Step 4

Everyone is paid

Money goes to each mobile money number or bank account, and every row gets its own status.

Why it works for vendor and supplier payments

Mobile money and bank in one run

A supplier in the village gets paid to M-Pesa, Mixx by YAS, Airtel Money or Halopesa, and a distributor gets paid to the bank, from the same file.

Your invoice number travels with the money

Put the invoice or purchase order number in the description so every payment matches your books.

Spend only what you deposited

Payouts come out of your wallet balance, so a batch can never spend money you have not put in.
